Debate Society
The FMP Student Debate Society (Sociedade de Debates dos Alunos da FMP) conducts biweekly debates based on discussions, reflections, and research carried out by the participants on various subjects, to contribute to academic life developing critical thinking and argumentative skills.
The group has 15 vacancies for undergraduate and graduate students – new vacancies may be opened in the case of withdrawal of a member. Undergraduate and graduate candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be a student currently enrolled in the Undergraduate in Law, Graduate or Postgraduate programs offered by the FMP;
- Be willing to sign a document ensuring prior commitment to attend at least 50% (fifty percent) of the events in the period;
- Have 3 (three) hours per week for dedication to the aforementioned project;
- Undertake the commitment to develop with quality the studies and tasks specified in the project.
