1. GENERAL INFORMATION AND DEFINITIONS

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, as it contains important information about who we are, how and why we collect, store, use and share your personal information, your rights in relation to such information and how to contact us, as well as with supervisory authorities in the event of complaints.

 

1.1 WHO ARE WE?

The Fundação Escola Superior do Ministério Público (Foundation for Higher Education of the Public Ministry), entitled FMP, registered in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul under company number CNPJ 90.090.762/0001-19, collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so, we are governed by the General Data Protection Regulation, which applies throughout the European Union (including the United Kingdom), and the General Data Protection Act (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados – in Brazil), assuming responsibility for controlling such personal information for the purposes legally provided.

 

2. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The user is aware that he/she voluntarily provides information through clicks on advertisements and forms or through websites operated by the FMP company.

 

3. SHARING AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The FMP company may disclose the personal data collected to third parties in the following situations and to the extent required and authorized by law:

I. To its customers and partners when necessary and / or appropriate to the provision of related services;

II. To companies and individuals hired to execute certain activities and services on behalf of the FMP company;

III. To companies of the group;

IV. To suppliers and partners to implement services hired by the company (such as information technology, accounting, among others);

V. For administrative purposes such as research, planning, service development, security, and risk management;

VI. When necessary due to legal obligation, determination of relevant authorities, or court decision.

In the event of sharing personal data with third parties, all subjects mentioned in items l to Vl shall use the shared data in a consistent manner and in accordance with the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with what has been determined by this Privacy Policy, other statements and privacies of websites or countries, as well as all applicable privacy and data protection laws.

 

4. SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

All personal data will be stored in the company’s database or in databases maintained “in the cloud” by the service providers hired by the company, which are duly in accordance with current data legislation. The company and its suppliers use various security procedures to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of your personal data, preventing the occurrence of any damage due to the processing of such data. Although the company uses security measures and monitors its system to check for vulnerabilities and attacks to protect your information from unauthorized disclosure, the user understands and agrees that there are no guarantees that the information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by violations of any of the physical, technical, or administrative protections.

 

5. DATA RETENTION

The FMP retains all data provided, including personal data, while the user’s registration is active and as necessary for the implementation of its services.

The FMP will retain your personal data and keep it stored until any request for deletion.

The company may retain the information after receiving your request for deletion if it is necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, ensuring compliance with contracts.

The FMP will send your data to another qualified company for the service. The company that will retain your data is LEAD WAY MARKETING QUALIFY LEADS LTDA, CNPJ 30.791.995/0001-17, registered in Porto Alegre, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

 

6. RIGHT TO ACCESS AND CONTROL YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The FMP offers the user several options about what to do with his/her collected, processed, and stored personal data, including its deletion and/or correction. The user may:

I. Delete data – the user may request the deletion of some of his/her personal data, for example, data that is no longer necessary to offer the service to him/her;

II. Change or correct data – the user may request the addition and/or editing of some of his/her personal data;

III. Place objections, limits or restrictions on the use of the data — the user may request the interruption of the use of all or some of his/her information, limiting its use;

IV. The user has the right to access or take his/her data — the user may request a copy of his/her personal data and other data provided in a readable format in printed form or by electronic means. The request can be made by contacting our Data Protection Officer via e-mail, comunicacao@fmp.com.br. The request will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
